Sirius Arts Centre & ArtTrail - presents SOUNDWAVE 2

ArtTrail and Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh, present Soundwave 2 - a day in and around Sound.

Saturday,12th September 2009

Taking over the gallery spaces of the Sirius Arts Centre from 12-7pm, the event will include a programme of live sonic performances from established and emerging sound artists connected to Cork; talks by Paul Hegarty and Francis Heery; a Spectrosonic Drawing performance by Mick O'Shea, and a DVD archive area where you can watch and listen to rare recordings of Noise, Sound Art, and Electronics.

Entrance is free, and there is a regular train service between Cork City and Cobh to get you there and back.

This event is part of ArtTrail's series of Research events, examining the content and context of different art practices in Cork City.
