Peter McMorris

I am currently developing a new body of work which is based on human interaction with the real world and the virtual world of cyberspace. I am creating visualizations of the virtual landscape and combining these with images of the physical landscape resulting in a juxtaposition of worlds. This augmented reality, this fine line between the real and virtual world, is what is being explored.

ABOUT

Born in Tullamore, Co. Offaly in 1978. He graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art from Crawford College of Art and Design in 2005 and is currently living and working in Cork. His mediums vary between printmaking, sculpture, film and sound. He has exhibited throughout Ireland and his work is held in a number of public and private collections.
